As a part of the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the ‘Sevananilayam’ it was decided that the hands of service rendered by the institution needed to reach out to the weaker sections of the society. This culminated in the ‘Integrated Village Development Program’ launched at a Village called Manchadikkari near Kumarakom. The Sevananilayam received able support from the Community Medicine Department of the Kottayam Medical College Doctors and the Pharmacists and volunteers from the Ascension church also support the camps that are conducted on the third Saturday of every month.

Now the village Medical camp extends this facility to different areas of not only Kottayam but outside districts also. This is in co-ordination with the CSI Church at the place. The aim of the camp is not just medical support, but the overall development of the village selected for the endeavour.
