The year 2005 was the 25th year of the existence of the Sevananilayam in its dedicated and self effacing service. The promoters, namely the Ascension church, have taken upon themselves the mission to widen the areas of ministry and service. This has taken the Sevananilayam family beyond the confines of the Sevananilayam. The silver jubilee year prompted the starting of ‘free food program’ to the poor patients and their relatives who come to the Kottayam Medical College for treatments. Around 400 to 500 patients are given free breakfast every day, except sundays. Philanthropists sponsor each day’s food and it has continued without break, from the 1st of March 2004. As part of your birthday, anniversary celebrations etc, you can do the following

Visit the centre and share your care with the inmates. Sponsor breakfast for a day – Rs. 1500/- (for shared) & Rs. 5000/- (for exclusively yours) Introduce this service program to your friends from other denominations or community. You can also sponsor other food items and deicacies for your special occassions. (Please check prior with office for the number to be provided that particular day.)
